Listed below are some frequently asked questions we get asked about vending services. If you have any further questions feel free to ask us and we'll publish them here to help others.
  • Do we have to pay fees to get a vending machine?

Not necessarily! We have two FREE contract options called FREEVEND PREMIUM and FREEVEND PLUS£.

It all comes down to the footfall where the machine will be positioned and the opportunity for us to create a sustainable revenue. Footfall (or number of visitors) gives us an indication as to what revenue we can expect from a machine. If you have a site where you have at least 50 visitors a day there is a strong likelihood you can have a fully maintained, fully stocked, and serviced contactless vending machine free of any charges on our FREEVEND PREMIUM Contract. This contract is great for medium sized businesses with between 50 and 100 visitors / employees. It’s also great for car dealerships, small gyms and other sites where people gather regularly.

If you have much higher visitor numbers, we may be able to discuss our FREEVEND PLUS£ contract where we payback commission on sales. This contract type is great for gyms, leisure centres, doctors’ surgeries, hospitals, shops, railway and bus stations, airports, arenas, hotels, football stadiums, shopping malls and other areas where there are large visitor numbers.

Where there are lower visitor numbers for instance in smaller businesses or sites where there are less people using the vending machine we will charge fees for providing the service. In addition where clients want free vend machines then we'll charge rent for the machine/s and fees for servicing.

  • What is cashless vending?

Cashless vending refers to a system where transactions for goods or services are conducted electronically without the use of physical cash. Instead of paying with coins or banknotes, individuals can use various electronic payment methods such as credit cards, debit cards, mobile wallets, or other digital payment systems to make purchases at vending machines or other retail locations.

This approach offers convenience for both consumers and businesses, as it eliminates the need for handling physical cash, reduces the risk of theft, and often speeds up the transaction process. Cashless vending is becoming increasingly popular in various industries, providing users with a modern and efficient way to make purchases.

Cashless vending relies on a 4G sim card and antenna on the inside of the machine to communicate with the cashless system provider.

  • Can I choose what food goes in our vending machine?

Yes, we offer customisable options that allow you to choose the specific food and beverages that go into your vending machine. These customisable solutions are provided to meet the preferences and dietary needs of your site audience. Many companies and organisations want to offer their teams lower sugar options as well as healthier, lower fat, lower salted snacks.

If you’re interested in discussing the selection of items in your vending machine, you can work with us to make this happen. We provide a wide range of products, and you can select from these and suggest alternatives to curate a selection that best suits your requirements. Keep in mind that the level of customisation may vary, and it needs to be balanced with a genuine need for those products to ensure the vending service is financially sustainable.

  • How long does it take to set up a contract?

The time it takes between discussing your requirements, deciding a selection plan, and getting the vending service up and running can vary. Typically, from start to finish it can take between 2 and 6 weeks depending on the machine selection and how quickly we can get contracts signed. We can work quicker than this if the vending service is deemed urgent to you.
